Jacky Groenewegen

Jacky grew up in Ontario, Canada and also lived in Zambia, Africa for two years as a child. She, her husband and three kids moved to Ohio in 1998, they all became official citizens in 2007. Since moving to this area, Jacky has worked as a Fitness Instructor and taught Sex-Ed to middle/high school students. She started a massage therapy practice in 2005 and then in 2013, she became a Certified Thermographic Technician. In 2018, she added a mobile component to her practice to serve more people. She is also the exclusive provider of thermography scans for the WHIF Individual Grant Program.
Jacky is drawn to serve on the Board as she could feel the authentic passion poured into the WHIF mission. She wanted to help wherever she could. She has been a long-time supporter of WHIF as an event sponsor and participant, so she feels like she’s already been serving the Board by proxy. She is excited to put an official title on her supporting role.
Jacky is passionate about the Truth, being the fullest expression of self, learning and growing and her cats! She has a huge heart for people and meeting them where they’re at.
She resides in Liberty Township with her husband Carl where they take care of 3 indoor and 5 outdoor cats. They have three grown (human) children and 10 grandchildren as well. Jacky says, “we always instilled in our kids to love and respect animals. We’ve always had pets, been in 4-H and have helped and rescued countless critters”.
In her spare time, she runs a Book Club for a tight little group of people who enjoy a good book and a great laugh.

Women’s Health Initiatives Foundation is on a mission to empower women and guide them to the truth about natural options which can prevent, treat, and defeat cancer.
