Lisa grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Arts. She met her husband, Noah, at a lasagna party as a freshman in college, and the two became best friends. They decided to make it official and married in 2008. Lisa began work with State Farm after her graduation from college, and she also worked with the youth in the community as an athletic coach. Lisa and Noah moved to Des Moines, Iowa in 2013, and then to Noah’s hometown in greater Cincinnati, Ohio in 2015. Lisa said goodbye to corporate America, but she continued to work with the youth as an athletic coach. She began to volunteer in a leadership role through her church as a mentor for high school students, and she developed a passion for the needs of young ladies who are searching for authentic community and relationships in an isolating, social media-driven culture. Lisa and Noah welcomed their daughter, Lorelai, into the family in 2018. After experiencing severe Postpartum Depression and Postpartum Anxiety, Lisa seeks to bring about awareness, education, and change for women’s health. She believes the Women’s Health Initiative Foundation serves as an advocate for women who face difficult, and often life-threatening, medical emergencies.
